Javascript Country, State Dropdown List
Other programming languages refer to these as comboboxes, list boxes, or dropdown lists. In the HTML language, these get called SELECT OPTIONS. The other items, called text boxes, get disabled, and thus, become read-only to the person viewing the page. Javascript programmatically modifies them once the user selects something.
